Veteran Hampton forward brings size, defense, and steady reserve value
In the 2025-26 season, Dionte Adams is a senior 6-7 forward for Hampton who gives the Pirates length, physicality, and real defensive utility off the bench. Last season, he played 21 games and averaged 1.4 points, 2.0 rebounds, 8.7 minutes, plus 8 steals and 9 blocks, with a season-best 3 blocks against Florida A&M; he also shot .818 from the line, which hints at touch and composure. Adams’ appeal is the low-drama, high-effort stuff coaches love: he rebounds, protects the rim, and competes hard without needing the ball, making him a useful fit for teams needing frontcourt depth and toughness.
