Iowa State Forward's College Hoops Days Are Long Behind Him
Michael Jacobson, the 6-8 forward from Waukee, IA, wrapped up his Iowa State Cyclones career after transferring from Nebraska, posting career averages of 7.4 PTS, 5.6 REB, and 47.2% FG across his college tenure—no specific season stats standout as elite. A solid Big Ten freshman in 2016-17 at Nebraska (4.9 PTS, 4.3 REB, 1.1 BLK, 3rd in conference freshman blocks), his differentiator was rim protection and rebounding grit, but he never cracked stat leaderboards. Now an NFL tight end with the Saints (post-2024 training camp buzz), he's no longer active in college basketball—skip him for hoops rosters unless you're building a multi-sport curiosity.
