UIC Flames' Rebounding Force Turned Proven Coach
Shanice Sadler, a standout forward for the UIC Flames from 2007-2011, showcased her tenacity on the boards with a season-high tying nine rebounds and six points in a dominant 66-36 win over Detroit in 2008, building on her high school dominance averaging 7.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 4.0 blocks senior year amid four conference titles. Now a women's basketball coach at North Park University as a recent UIC grad, her gritty, versatile skillset—rebounding prowess, playmaking, and defensive intensity—marks her as a rising star developer of talent, making her an ideal fit for programs seeking passionate, battle-tested leadership.
