Jerry Alcindor brings freshman-size upside to Bethune-Cookman’s offensive front
In the 2025 season, Jerry Alcindor appeared in three games as a freshman for Bethune-Cookman, and by 2026 he was listed as a redshirt freshman at 6-foot-2, 275 pounds, giving the Wildcats a young, developing OL with real frame upside.[15][12] He’s a Florida-bred lineman from Glades Central who played both tackle and defensive end in high school, which hints at athletic versatility and a physical edge; he also drew a Bryant offer before choosing B-CU.[15] For a team, he looks like a developmental add with tools, toughness, and room to grow rather than a finished product.[15]
