Arkansas State DB with Proven Tackling Grit from 2014 Era
Ryan Jacobs, a former walk-on turned scholarship DB for the Arkansas State Red Wolves, shone in the 2014 season with 9 tackles (4 solo, 5 assists) across 13 games and a key fumble recovery, peaking with a career-high 4 stops at Missouri—highlighting his relentless intensity and special teams reliability. Reliable sources like ESPN note his reserve role hustle, making him a gritty, undervalued differentiator for teams needing depth and heart over flash; no notable injury history, ideal fit for developmental programs valuing blue-collar playmakers.
