Monique Nelson brings size, upside, and frontcourt presence to UAB
Monique Nelson is a 6-1 sophomore forward for UAB in the 2025-26 season, giving the Blazers a young, physical option inside with room to grow into a larger role.[1] She stands out for her size and frontcourt versatility, the kind of profile that can matter beyond the box score when a team wants rebounding, rim pressure, and developmental upside from a player who is still early in her college career.[1] If you’re looking for a high-upside fit rather than a polished finished product, she’s the sort of athlete worth watching.
