Xavier Williams is a veteran edge presence for Sacramento State
In the 2025 season, Xavier Williams appeared in all 12 games and started 11 for Sacramento State as an edge rusher, and his preseason recognition from multiple outlets suggests he’s viewed as one of the Hornets’ steadier front-seven pieces[4][5][7]. At 6-foot-4 and about 246 pounds, he brings length, experience, and enough burst to show up in impact moments—like a second-scrimmage safety—making him a strong fit for a team that wants a physical, high-motor DL who can hold the edge and create disruption[1][10][12].
