William & Mary Safety with Untapped Versatility and Athletic Upside
Brian Thompson, a 6'2", 210-lb safety for the William & Mary Tribe, stands out with his high-motor playmaking from high school All-League DB/WR days at Iona Prep and prep dominance at Milford Academy, where he racked up sacks, strips, and fumble recoveries against college competition. Transitioning from Merrimack (2 tackles in 2019) and Michigan (fifth-year TE walk-on), his size, speed, and backfield disruption make him a differentiator in coverage and blitz packages—perfect fit for teams needing intense, adaptable DBs with NFL-caliber traits and no notable injury history.
