Steve Smith brings veteran size and a stretch-forward profile for Fairfield
Steve Smith is a 6'7" forward with a proven shooting touch and veteran experience for Fairfield, including a school-record seven 3-pointers in one game and a preseason-injury setback that interrupted one season of action. He stands out as a floor-spacer who can punish teams from deep, but the bigger question is fit: he looks best for a roster that needs length, shooting, and a steady, low-drama role player rather than a high-usage centerpiece.
