veteran South Alabama guard who brought point-guard poise, scoring touch, and board work
Valencia Boswell’s South Alabama profile shows a steady, versatile guard who could run the offense and chip in across the stat sheet: in the 2005-06 season, she averaged 6.1 points, 2.8 rebounds, and shot 41.1% from the field, while also serving as one of the team’s captains. Her 2005-06 leg injury that cost her four of the final five games is the main caution flag, but her combo of leadership, efficient scoring, and hustle-rebound profile made her the kind of reliable glue guard coaches love.
