Donovann Toatley is a seasoned guard whose 2023-24 Detroit season showed steady scoring punch—9.6 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 19.5 minutes—plus flashes of takeover ability, including a career-high 21 points at NC State. He’s the kind of compact, aggressive guard who can change tempo, pressure the ball, and give a team grown-up minutes in big spots; the tradeoff is that he’s more crafty than explosive, and his shooting has been streaky. If you want a veteran, competitive guard who won’t be rattled, he’s a useful fit.
