Cougar McBride brings size, consistency, and a steady presence to North Texas' linebacker room
Cougar McBride is a North Texas linebacker who has shown dependable availability, with 10 games played for the Mean Green, and profiles as a physical, assignment-sound defender rather than a headline-chasing stat machine.[1] His value is the kind coaches love: toughness, steadiness, and the ability to hold the middle together without needing the spotlight, which makes him a plausible fit for a team that wants reliable run support and a no-drama tone-setter.[1]
