Joseph Scates brings NFL-sized experience and red-zone production to Memphis
Joseph Scates is a big-bodied, experienced wideout who gave Memphis dependable production in 2023, finishing his Tigers career with 51 catches for 826 yards and 10 touchdowns. His calling card is size, catch radius, and scoring ability, which made him a useful red-zone target and a matchup problem for smaller corners. He also has pro-level traits that helped him earn an NFL look after college, though he is not currently on a college roster. If you want a receiver with proven touchdown value and physicality over flash, he fits that mold.
