Big frame, limited Coastal Carolina footprint
Austin Wilson is a 6-foot-2, 225-pound quarterback who arrived at Coastal Carolina after four seasons at Syracuse, where in the 2016 season he completed 17 of 27 passes for 116 yards across two games and finished his Syracuse career with 49 completions, 418 yards, and one touchdown. His clear differentiator was size and experience in a Power Five system, plus leadership chops noted in his Syracuse bio, but the on-field résumé at Coastal was limited, so he profiles more as a depth-and-veteran presence than a proven game-changer.
