Georgia Southern DB Chandler Dial-Watson Brings Special-Teams Grit and Academic Reliability
Chandler Dial-Watson profiles as a depth defensive back whose value comes from effort, versatility, and special-teams work rather than headline defensive stats; in the 2023-24 season he logged 129 snaps, with almost all of them on special teams, and finished with four tackles while earning Sun Belt academic honors. He looks like a fit for teams that want a dependable, coachable player who can contribute in multiple phases, compete hard in coverage and on coverage units, and add steady roster value beyond the box score.
