Patrick Fernandez is Central Arkansas’ workhorse right-hander with SEC-caliber flashes
In the 2026 season, Patrick Fernandez has been a steady starter for Central Arkansas, piling up team-high starts while showing real swing-and-miss ability, including 6 strikeouts over 6 innings against EKU and a strong 4.1-inning outing in a win at Vanderbilt. His season line has also shown the bumps: he’s worked into the rotation often, but command and run prevention have been inconsistent, with a 6.94 ERA and a 1-4 record entering late April. The fit? A durable, competitive junior who can battle good lineups, though teams will want to see sharper strike-throwing and more consistency.
