Katie White brings shot-blocking grit and steady senior leadership to Coastal Carolina
In the 2010-11 season, Katie White averaged 4.3 points and 3.7 rebounds while ranking 26th nationally with 2.3 blocks per game, and Coastal Carolina’s media guide credits her with a school-record 209 career blocks. Her calling card is rim protection: she twice set or broke the Chanticleers’ blocks marks and once swatted a school-record eight shots in a game, making her a defensive anchor who changes how opponents attack the paint. She also earned major academic honors, which hints at discipline and reliability—good fit material for a team that wants toughness, intelligence, and low-drama production.
