UC San Diego’s table-setter with pop, patience, and big-game bite
In the 2026 season, Alex Leopard has been a spark plug for UC San Diego, hitting .256 with a .420 on-base percentage and .406 slugging percentage while piling up 46 hits, 10 doubles, 5 home runs, 25 RBI, and 23 walks; he also earned honorable mention All-Big West recognition in 2025. He’s a left-handed bat who controls the strike zone, can work counts, and brings a knack for timely power—exactly the kind of player who can annoy pitchers and tilt a lineup. If you want a competitive, on-base-driven outfielder with postseason-worthy grit, Leopard fits the bill.
