Redshirt Freshman DB with Elite Intensity for South Carolina State
Davious Chestnut, a 5-11, 170-lb redshirt freshman defensive back for the South Carolina State Bulldogs, stands out not for stats (which are unavailable as a newcomer) but for his relentless intensity, football IQ, and natural coverage instincts that exceed typical freshman performance. Though he has no recorded tackles or interceptions yet, reliable team sources describe him as a 'lock-down' prospect with the personality of a veteran leader and zero injury history, making him a high-upside fit for any team seeking a hungry, intelligent DB. His differentiator is pure intensity and adaptability—traits that don't show in early stats but define his future ceiling.
