Zach Edwards is Texas’ steady special-teams veteran
In the 2026 Texas roster notes, Zach Edwards is listed as a senior deep snapper/long snapper with veteran utility and a clean special-teams résumé, including multiple games as a holder and long snapper for the Longhorns. He’s the kind of glue guy coaches trust: reliable, experienced, and apparently “the veteran” Texas leaned on in the kicking game. He won’t light up a stat sheet, but for a team, that consistency, field-position stability, and low-drama execution are exactly the point.
