Leah Mears brings a bat-first spark and proven winning pedigree to Towson
Mears arrives at Towson as a high-upside outfielder with a reputation for impact at the plate and a history of winning at the high-school level, where she helped Vineland win back-to-back regular-season titles and earned multiple first-team all-state/region honors. She also showed real power growth, saying in 2025 that strength work helped her confidence and slugging take off, and she backed that up with a stretch of extra-base damage and home runs. Towson has already seen the upside, including a 3-for-4 game with two runs against Coppin State in 2026.
