Mike Henshaw brings veteran toughness and special-teams grit to WVU
Mike Henshaw is a senior defensive back for West Virginia who has built his value on physical, downhill tackling and reliable special-teams work rather than flashy box-score stuff; in the 2004 season, ESPN credited him with 2 total tackles, while WVU’s roster bio describes him as a veteran spur safety with a defender’s attitude and a strong tackler who plays multiple special-teams units. He looks like a fit for a coach who wants a tough, low-drama utility DB who does the dirty work, sets an edge, and won’t blink under pressure.
