A steady, high-IQ guard with proven shooting touch and team-first value
Baylie Stears is a seasoned Southeastern Louisiana guard whose game has been built on reliability, spacing, and basketball IQ; in her 2016-17 season, she averaged 2.1 points and 1.0 rebound in 9.6 minutes while shooting 47.1% from the field and 41.7% from three, which hints at a useful floor-spacer rather than a high-usage scorer. Her strongest differentiators are efficiency, composure, and versatility—she was a multi-sport, FCA-active high school standout with a strong academic profile, suggesting a disciplined, coachable presence who can fit into a structured system without needing the ball to matter.
