Shoshkikj flashed instant-impact guard skills in 2025-26
In the 2025-26 season, Andrej Shoshkikj emerged as a high-value freshman guard for Stony Brook, earning CAA All-Rookie honors and showing a rare blend of scoring punch, efficiency, and poise. He averaged 10.7 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 2.4 assists while shooting 49.8% from the field, 45.1% from three, and 96.4% at the line, with 47 steals and a 35-point career high in the CAA Tournament. The fit is obvious: smart, skilled, disruptive, and low-mistake. The only real question is whether he can keep scaling that two-way impact as a lead guard.
