Genevieve Delk’s South Alabama legacy still pops: clutch inside scorer with record-level toughness
Genevieve Delk is best known as a crafty, physical forward who could score inside, rebound, and deliver in big moments—South Alabama archives show her as a team-high scorer in key games and the program’s all-time Mitchell Center blocks record holder with 8, a nice clue to her rim-protection edge. Her game reads like old-school glue with a punch: dependable in traffic, aggressive on the glass, and not afraid of the moment. For roster fit, she profiles as a winner-type frontcourt piece who brings toughness, competitiveness, and a strong defensive footprint.
