Big-bodied Gamecock tight end with mismatch upside
Jerell Adams was a productive South Carolina TE whose 2015 season featured 28 catches for 421 yards and 3 touchdowns, finishing his Gamecock career with 66 receptions for 977 yards and 7 scores in 47 games with 15 starts.[1] At 6-foot-5 and 252 pounds, he brought NFL-caliber movement for his size, plus red-zone value and enough speed/short-area quickness to stress linebackers and safeties.[1][14] If you want a pass-catching tight end who can win vertically and stretch the seam, Adams is the type; if you need a high-volume, in-line grinder, that’s less his calling card.[1][14]
