Bruce Greer brings veteran DB size and experience to Samford
Bruce Greer projects as a physical, experienced defensive back for Samford, listed at 6-foot-1 and 200 pounds in his final recorded seasons with the Bulldogs, giving him the frame to match up well in the secondary[1]. His differentiator is steady, multi-year program familiarity rather than flashy stat production, which can make him a useful fit for a defense that values reliability, size, and assignment discipline over highlight-chasing. The current public record available here is historical rather than recent, so there is not enough verified 2026 on-field production to make a clean performance claim.
