Markee Teal brings FAMU a veteran wing with shot-making upside
Teal stands out as a seasoned, two-way perimeter contributor who can handle the ball, create secondary offense, and add length on the wing; in his most recent available season, Michael Teal posted 5.2 points, 2.1 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 0.8 steals per game at South Carolina State, which points to a steady role player profile rather than a high-usage scorer[8][18]. His value is less about headline numbers and more about connective play, defensive activity, and experience in the MEAC, making him a sensible fit for a team needing a reliable glue guy who won’t need the offense run through him[8][11][18].
