Georgetown DL's Tackling Force in 2013 Patriot League
Richard Shankle, a standout junior defensive lineman for the Georgetown Hoyas in 2013, erupted for a career-high 11 tackles, 1 sack, and 2.5 TFL through five games—ranking 5th in team tackles (25) and 4th in TFL—earning his first Patriot League weekly honorable mention after a gritty performance vs. Princeton. Finishing the season with 50 tackles and 9.5 TFL (3rd on team, 10th in PL), his relentless intensity and pass-rushing disruption make him a disruptive fit for teams needing blue-collar DL depth; no recent data post-2013, but his proven motor screams upside.
