Strike-throwing Tennessee Tech righty who gives the Golden Eagles a live arm
Drew Kirby has been a regular arm for Tennessee Tech in the 2026 season, appearing in 15 games and logging 15 outings on the mound, which tells you the staff trusts him in real innings rather than stash-and-dash duty[1]. He’s a 6-foot-6 right-hander with a pro-style frame, and that size alone usually hints at downhill plane and room for more velocity or polish as he develops[4]. The eye-catching part: he’s battled through some rough stretches, but the usage suggests Tennessee Tech values his upside and willingness to take the ball[1][2]. If you want a projectable RHP with starter traits and competitive durability, he’s worth a look[1][4].
