Lane Below is a former Ole Miss guard turned grinder-turned-coach
Lane Below’s Ole Miss playing career was more about reliability and basketball IQ than box-score fireworks: in the 2017-18 season, he appeared in two games for the Rebels and was recognized on the SEC Winter Academic Honor Roll, after earlier producing 4.8 points, 0.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game at Three Rivers CC. He’s the kind of steady, team-first guard who brings maturity, work ethic, and a strong program pedigree—useful if you want a disciplined connector who understands the game and the locker room, not just a highlight hunter.
