Versatile Defensive Playmaker for St. Thomas Tommies
Tommy Shelstad is a junior linebacker for the University of St. Thomas who brings productive two-way impact to the defense. In 2021, he recorded nine tackles and forced a fumble in a single game, demonstrating his ability to disrupt plays and create turnovers. Shelstad's versatility—having played safety and running back in high school before transitioning to linebacker—gives him unique coverage skills and field awareness. His combination of instinctive play-making, physical toughness, and positional flexibility makes him an intriguing prospect for programs seeking a reliable, multi-dimensional defender who can contribute immediately.
