7'2" Eastern Illinois center Mat Piotrowski brings rare size and shot deterrence
Piotrowski’s appeal is his **elite frame**: at 7-foot-2, he gives Eastern Illinois a true interior presence, but his current college production is modest, with ESPN listing him at 1.0 points and 1.3 rebounds per game in the 2025-26 season and EIU’s roster page showing 17 games, four starts, and 9.8 minutes per game. He is the kind of matchup-specific big man who can change how opponents attack the rim, making him most valuable as a low-usage, rim-protecting role fit rather than a high-volume scorer.
