Explosive FAU back with proven burst and versatility
Chauncey Mason brings a compact, slashing style to Florida Atlantic, and his production profile shows efficiency more than volume: in the 2019 season, he totaled 32 carries for 186 yards and added 6 catches for 78 yards and a receiving touchdown[3]. At 5-foot-9 and 200 pounds, he has enough pop to run through contact while still offering quickness and receiving value out of the backfield[1][3]. He also has a multi-year college track record across Arkansas State and FAU, which suggests a seasoned, adaptable back who can fit in a rotation and help on passing downs[1][3].
