Chad Boyd brings veteran ballhawking energy to Louisiana Tech’s secondary
In his Louisiana Tech career, Chad Boyd has been a proven playmaker in the defensive backfield, with ESPN’s player profile showing multiple seasons of interception production, including a 2012 campaign marked by standout takeaways and ball skills[1][5]. He was also recognized on the 2012 Second Team All-WAC and appeared on the Jim Thorpe Award watch list, which tells you he had real reputation as a disruptive, instinctive defender—not just a box-score collector[4]. The fit? If you want a DB who plays with veteran savvy, range, and turnover upside, Boyd is the kind of guy who can tilt a game.
