hard-hitting depth linebacker with a nose for the ball
Christian Launius projects as a physical, assignment-sound linebacker for Liberty, with prior game action showing he can contribute on special teams and in rotational duty. In the 2018 season, he appeared in nine games and totaled six tackles, including a pair of solo stops against Troy, which hints at dependable effort and willingness to mix it up. He looks like the kind of low-drama, high-effort defender coaches trust: tough, steady, and ready to do the dirty work. For a team needing toughness and consistency more than flash, he’s a sensible fit.
