George Chevalier brings a live arm and freshman upside to VMI’s staff
In the 2025 season, George Chevalier arrived at VMI as a freshman right-handed pitcher after earning All-Region honors at Landstown High School and helping Chesapeake’s Post 280 in summer ball, where he finished games with scoreless relief and showed he can handle pressure. The public profile suggests a competitive, versatile arm with real strike-throwing potential and enough athleticism to contribute in more than one role early on. If you want a young pitcher with upside, toughness, and room to grow into a bigger college workload, he’s worth watching.
