Collin Loupe keeps leveling up for New Orleans
In the 2025 season, Collin Loupe emerged as one of the Privateers’ most reliable infield bats, finishing with a .313 average after hitting .260 in 2024 and stacking up 10 multi-hit games; by early 2025 he had even led the Southland in batting average and posted a .548 on-base mark. He’s a compact, pesky hitter who looks comfortable spraying line drives, drawing walks, and manufacturing offense rather than just selling out for power. That said, he’s more steady spark plug than thunderbolt — exactly the kind of competitive, contact-first infielder coaches love.
