WKU’s high-minute, high-motor shot-creator who lived at the line
In the 2020-21 season, Taveion Hollingsworth was a workhorse for Western Kentucky, averaging 13.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.2 steals while playing 31.4 minutes per game; across his Hilltopper career he piled up 1,896 points and a school-record 131 starts. What makes him pop is the combination of scoring touch, foul-drawing, and durability—he could attack late, get to the stripe, and steady an offense without needing perfect spacing. He’s the kind of guard coaches love for toughness and reliability, especially when the game gets ugly and somebody has to make a shot.
