Hazen Wright is a power-arm righty with strikeout upside and a real developmental frame at New Mexico State
Wright’s profile is built around **strikeout ability** and projection: in the 2025 season at New Mexico State, he posted a 4.37 ERA with 29 strikeouts in 22.2 innings, and his high-school résumé included 107 strikeouts with a sub-2.00 ERA. He’s a **6-foot-3, 195-pound** right-hander with a full-body frame that suggests there may be more velocity and consistency to unlock, making him an interesting fit for a staff that values upside and can sharpen command.
