Shelton Riley brings immediate playmaking and finishing pop to Furman’s backfield
In the 2024 season, Shelton Riley led his team in rushing attempts (99), rushing yards (375) and rushing touchdowns (5), which points to a dependable, high-usage runner rather than just a complementary piece.[4] He also earned CSC Academic All-District recognition, a useful sign of reliability and discipline off the field.[4] The appeal here is a workhorse profile with proven short-yardage value and enough versatility to stay on the field, making him a sensible fit for a program that wants a steady, physical contributor in the run game.[4]
