Texas State’s Reliable Kickout Specialist with Proven Grit
Andrew Ireland, the Texas State Bobcats’ kicker (K), has emerged as a steady, high-intensity presence in the 2025 season, delivering consistent kickouts and clutch field goals under pressure. His differentiator isn’t just accuracy—it’s his relentless preparation and calm demeanor in critical moments, traits that coaches rave about in post-game digests. Though he faced a minor ankle sprain in late October 2025, he returned within three weeks without missing a game, showcasing resilience. Ireland’s personality—quietly confident, team-first, and fiercely competitive—makes him a low-risk, high-reward fit for any program seeking reliability and leadership from the kicking unit.
