steady, physical NCCU forward with a dependable freshman-era floor game
Marius Vaskys arrived at North Carolina Central as a 6-9 freshman center/forward and immediately showed a steady, low-drama game, scoring 7 points in each of his first four college games and grabbing 7 rebounds twice in 2007.[4][7] He was praised by NCCU coverage as a mark of consistency, and his early box-score line at North Dakota State showed a busy, all-around contribution with 7 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 block in 28 minutes.[1][4] He looks like the kind of frontcourt piece coaches trust for effort and reliability rather than flash.
