6'3" DB Calijuwon Johnson brings length and veteran transfer value to MVSU
Calijuwon Johnson is a long, physical defensive back for Mississippi Valley State, listed at 6-foot-3 and 185 pounds, with a junior transfer profile that suggests immediate experience value in the secondary. He came to MVSU after a 2021 season at Itawamba CC with 23 tackles and 3 pass breakups in nine games, which hints at a player who can compete at the catch point and stay involved around the ball. The differentiator is size for the position; the care-about factor is whether your team wants a rangy, proven DB who can add matchup flexibility and depth.
