Rutgers’ low-usage forward with depth-chart value
Kofi Genfi, a 6-foot-4 forward from Sayreville, New Jersey, profiles as a depth piece for Rutgers rather than a featured scorer, with public stat pages showing very limited production in his Rutgers minutes. The appeal is more in frame, positional versatility, and local familiarity than box-score pop; that kind of player can help on the margins with defense, energy, and practice competitiveness, especially if he embraces a rugged role. If your team needs a high-usage offensive engine, he’s not that guy; if you want a hard-nosed, low-ego wing-forward who can plug gaps and keep the room honest, he’s worth a look.
