Billy Walton III brings portal-tested edge to Oklahoma State
Billy Walton III is a 6-foot-3, 253-pound redshirt sophomore DE for Oklahoma State who arrives after a 2025 season at SMU in which he played all 13 games, logged 6 tackles and 2 sacks, and finished tied for fifth on the team in sacks. He looks like a classic rotation-edge fit: experienced, sturdy, and useful on passing downs, with the kind of transfer-portal polish that usually means he can hold up snap after snap. The big question is ceiling, not floor—he’s a ready-made depth piece with disruptive flashes, but not yet a proven every-down engine.
