Buffalo Bulls DB Legend from the Early 2000s Era
Youdlain Marcellus, a standout defensive back for the Buffalo Bulls from 1999-2001, earned a spot in the program's all-time lists and was selected in the 2002 CFL Draft (Round 5, 37th overall by Ottawa), showcasing his coverage skills and playmaking instincts during an era when UB was building its MAC identity. Hailing from Longueuil, Quebec, he brought international flair and track-like speed to the secondary—think explosive hips and ball skills that frustrated QBs. No red flags on injuries; his gritty, high-motor style made him a reliable tackler and leader, perfect for teams needing versatile, battle-tested DBs with pro upside.
