Freshman LB with upside at North Dakota State
Carter Appl is a freshman linebacker at North Dakota State listed at 6'2", 211 pounds, but there are no public college stats yet to judge his on-field production.[1] The main reason to watch him is profile and program fit: NDSU’s linebacker pipeline is built for physical, disciplined defenders, and Appl’s size suggests he has the frame to develop into that mold.[1][3] If you’re looking for a developmental defender with long-term upside rather than an immediate stat-sheet star, he fits the bill.
