veteran Saint Joseph’s role player and locker-room connector
Esther Hoffer is best understood as a dependable, high-energy Saint Joseph’s forward whose value goes beyond box scores: the Hawks described her as a ‘bubbly’ four-year walk-on and the team’s communicator, which points to maturity, buy-in, and unselfishness in a role-player package.[8] The available source material is historical rather than current, so I can’t verify her 2025-26 performance or rankings; based on Saint Joseph’s coverage, her differentiator was attitude, cohesion, and willingness to do the connective work a team needs.[8]
