Special Teams-First Linebacker with Reliable Depth Value
Ben Carpenter projects as a **depth-and-special-teams defender** for Colorado, not a headline stat machine, after appearing in all 13 games in 2024 and finishing with 10 tackles and 15 special-teams points. His value is in reliability, effort, and versatility—he’s the kind of linebacker who helps stabilize kicking units and can earn more defensive snaps if he keeps developing. For a team, he fits best as a high-motor, assignment-sound role player with upside rather than an instant-impact starter.
